This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs all use of the DNSAFE platform operated by Admiresty Corporation ("we", "us"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By using DNSAFE you agree to comply with this AUP. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
Prohibited Activities
You must not use the DNSAFE Service to:
- Circumvent security controls: Attempt to bypass, disable, reverse-engineer, or undermine DNSAFE's filtering mechanisms, rate limits, authentication systems, or any other customer's security controls.
- Illegal activities: Use the Service in connection with any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation, including computer fraud, unauthorised access to systems, or data theft.
- Distribution of malicious content: Use the Service to register, host, route, or resolve domains used to distribute malware, ransomware, phishing pages, spyware, botnets, command-and-control (C2) infrastructure, or any other harmful content. The Service exists to block such content, not to facilitate it.
- Unauthorised resale: Resell, sublicense, white-label, or offer the DNSAFE Service to third parties without a current and valid MSP Partner Agreement with Admiresty Corporation.
- Infrastructure abuse: Send artificially excessive DNS queries, attempt denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks against DNSAFE infrastructure, scan for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the Service or other customers' use of it.
- API abuse: Exceed plan API rate limits, use automated scripts to scrape or harvest data beyond your own account data, or access the API in a way not documented or authorised by Admiresty Corporation.
- Misrepresentation: Impersonate Admiresty Corporation or DNSAFE, claim unauthorised affiliation, or use DNSAFE brand assets, trademarks, or logos without prior written permission.
- Surveillance and monitoring: Deploy DNSAFE to covertly monitor individuals without their knowledge or consent, except where you have a lawful basis to do so (e.g., parental controls applied to minor children in your household, or network monitoring disclosed in your organisation's acceptable use policy).
- Harm to minors: Use the Service to access, distribute, or facilitate access to any content that sexually exploits or harms minors.
- Spam and phishing: Use the Service in connection with sending unsolicited commercial messages, phishing campaigns, or any form of email or DNS abuse.
MSP and Business Customer Responsibilities
If you are a business or MSP customer managing DNSAFE on behalf of your clients or end users, you are responsible for ensuring that your clients and end users comply with this AUP. You must include appropriate acceptable use terms in your own agreements with those parties, and you remain liable to Admiresty Corporation for any violations committed by users on your account.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Upon discovering a violation, we may take any or all of the following actions at our discretion:
- Issue a warning and require you to remedy the violation within a specified time
- Temporarily suspend your account or specific features
- Permanently terminate your account without refund
- Report the activity to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities
- Disclose information about you to law enforcement as required or permitted by law
We will generally attempt to notify you before taking action unless the violation is severe, ongoing, or poses an immediate risk to the Service or other customers.
Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of any misuse of DNSAFE infrastructure or services, please report it to us immediately:
abuse@dnsafe.net
We take all abuse reports seriously and will investigate and respond promptly.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the portal. Continued use of the Service following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
