Resolv is the DNSAFE AI assistant. Ask it about setup, plans or why a site is blocked, any time, on any DNSAFE page. It links the page it answered from, and hands you to our team when it can’t help.
reddit.com to Always allow.Resolv is the chat button in the corner of every DNSAFE page.
Signed in to DNSAFE Home or the portal, Resolv sees your plan and settings. Ask why a site is blocked and it checks that site against your rules, filters and, in the portal, the last 7 days of your logs.
Answers end with links to the page or doc they came from, so you can check the details and go straight to the right setting.
If it can’t help, press Talk to a person. The whole conversation goes to our support team as a ticket, so you never have to explain twice.
On dnsafe.net, the docs, the business and MSP portal and DNSAFE Home, with suggestions that fit each one. The conversation follows you between pages.
Resolv only answers. It can’t change your settings, rules or billing, and it never asks for passwords or card numbers.
On an MSP’s own branded portal it’s simply called “Assistant”, with no DNSAFE name.

As little as it needs to answer.
Your questions and its answers are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write each reply. The conversation stays in your browser tab; we don’t keep chat history on our servers.
In DNSAFE Home and the portal, a short summary of your plan, settings and networks goes with your question. If you name a site, so does whether it’s blocked for you and why. On dnsafe.net and the docs, it knows nothing about you.
We keep an answer only if you rate it helpful or not (to improve Resolv), or send the conversation with Talk to a person, which becomes a support ticket.
Yes. It’s included for everyone, on every plan and for visitors to dnsafe.net. There’s a fair-use limit on how many questions can be asked in a short time.
Sometimes, like any AI. It sticks to DNSAFE’s own documentation and your account, and links its sources so you can check. For anything important, follow the link or press Talk to a person.
No. It explains where to go and what to change, and you make the change yourself. It can’t see or change passwords, payment details or API keys.
Press Talk to a person in the chat at any point. If you’re signed in to DNSAFE Home, the ticket also shows on your Help page. You can always use the contact page or email support@dnsafe.net too.
The Ask Resolv button in the bottom corner of dnsafe.net, docs.dnsafe.net, the portal and DNSAFE Home. It follows your light or dark setting.
